About Royal Ceylon Gemstones

Where are your stones from?

At Royal Ceylon Gemstones we primarily source our supply from Ceylon
(Sri Lanka). There we have a network of supplies who responsibly and
ethically mine the stones. This is done through low impact underground
mining to minimalist environmental impacts while also providing a
liveable wage to those employed and boosting local economy especially in
rural areas.

We also have suppliers in parts of Africa, other areas of Asia and of
course Australia. All of our gemstones are bought through trusted means
and from non-conflict areas.

Our more expensive gemstones will come with a certificate of
certification from a gemologist laboratory. While our smaller gemstones
do not, we are always happy to provide additional verification and
answer questions as needed.

All gemstones information section on the website state their country of
origin. Please also know that part of any purchase does go back into Sri
Lanka, Australia and other counties in the form of charity. As we at
Royal Ceylon Gemstones believe in giving back to the Earth and the
communities we work with.
